About 200 students taking up French language from ten different universities offering French classes in Metro Manila & Alliance française de Manille are expecting to come on March 21, 10 am at Alliance to celebrate the Francophonia day. This day tends to promote French language around the world – 56 countries are members of the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF) – by proposing activities around ten words chosen each year by the OIF. This year, the students are asked to create skits from the theme "words for tomorrow":

A karaoke contest will be held as well for the students to show their talents in French and in singing! The third activity will be a quizzA buffet will be served to all the participants. on French and Francophone culture… let's give the correct answer!
