AFM Gallery
WOVEN TRACES
In partnership with Qube Gallery
Artists: Angela Silva and Francis Dravigny
Opening Reception: March 12 6:30 PM | Exhibit Runs Until: April 11, 2026
Rescuing forgotten objects and overlooked materials, this joint exhibition by Angela Silva and Francis Dravigny explores the afterlife of memory and matter. Silva works with archival photographs and cyanotype processes, transforming anonymous early-20th-century portraits into layered blue collages that reframe lost histories. Dravigny specializes in textile-based sculpture, weaving Philippine abacá with discarded resin, loom spools, and stacked bowls to create monumental forms. Together, their practices of assemblage and material reclamation reveal how fragments of the past can be reimagined—proving nothing is ever truly exhausted, only waiting to be seen anew.
