The Alliance Française de Manille (AFM) was founded in 1920 and is one of the most prominent foreign cultural institutions in the Philippines. A non-profit organization committed to promoting the French language and culture, AFM encourages friendly relations between the Filipinos and the French through educational and art programs.
Let us accompany you on your French language journey. Discover the beauty and excitement of learning a new language and open yourself up to new possibilities!
Known widely in the Philippines as “the FrancoPhil Program”, each year the Alliance Française de Manille prepares a line-up of multi-disciplinary activities that expose the public on French culture. AFM also supports Filipino culture through its various programs dedicated to promote Filipino artists.
Le coude rouge
Le Coude Rouge, literally translated "the Red Elbow" (A common French expression for a glass of wine), was established in 1991 to complement the AFM.
As the school primarily promotes French Language, Le Coude Rouge takes in charge the promotion of French Gastronomy. Our menu caters to all taste buds and budget since we also offer students meals and snack combinations. The restaurant also accepts catering for events inside AFM.
