RATES

There are three types of rates to choose from: Expedite, Rush, Ordinary. Expedite is the fastest way to do the translation. If the document is 1 to 3 pages only, you would receive it within 24 hours. Rush is the second fastest way to do the translation. If the document is 1 to 3 pages only, you would receive it within 2 to 3 working days. If the document is 4 pages or more, you would receive it from 12 to 20 days. Ordinary is the cheapest among the rates of translation. If the document is 1 to 3 pages only, you would receive it within 5 to 7 working days. If the document is 4 pages or more, you would receive it from 20 to 30 days.

One page in this calculation is equivalent to 250 words only. When the number of words in a document exceeds 250, an additional page will be charged.

HOW TO PAY

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Translations shall refer to the final translated document, type-written double-spaced on a standard paper (A4), counted on the basis of 25 lines or 250 words per page.
  2. Translations which are composed of several pages shall be computed according to the total number of translated pages as defined above.
  3. Any document or a part of documents resulting in less than 25 lines translation will be charged as a full page. As soon as the page exceeds 250 words, an additional page will be charged.
  4. For documents exceeding 1,000 words, the Client and Alliance Française shall reach an agreement on the delivery date of the translation.
  5. Upon signing this agreement, the client shall pay 50% of the estimated cost. The balance shall be paid upon the release of the translated documents.
  6. Payment of the contract price shall not be subject to the prior acceptance of work.
  7. Alliance Française de Manille (AFM) is not liable for any loss of documents submitted for translation as we receive the photocopies only.
  8. The Client’s signature implies that the Client agrees to the AFM Operational Translation Policy.
  9. “ESTIMATED” means the pages and the cost may be lesser or higher after the translation process.
  10. Despite of the Expedite option, the discretion of the final Release Date belongs to the translator alone.

  1. What is Translation?Translation refers to the process of changing one document from one language to another. Alliance Française provides the translation of French documents into English and vice-versa. We also accept Tagalog documents to be translated into English and vice-versa. To be accepted and referred to as a Translation, all the words must be presented as a written document.

  9. Are your translators French?Yes, we have French, Canadian, and Filipino translators.
  10. Do I need a stamp from the Embassy of France?Usually, yes, a stamp of legalization from the Embassy of France is necessary for your translated documents.
